DJ 1morning, formerly based in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley and now residing in New York City, is a techno and house producer recognized for his unique sound. Drawing inspiration from the golden era of techno and house, he brings a fresh perspective to contemporary dance music. His productions feature driving rhythms, deep grooves, and classic sensibilities that bridge past and present on the dance floor. His work has garnered support from notable artists such as Eris Drew, Deetron, and the Zenker Brothers. With a focus on both his productions and DJ sets, 1morning continues to make an impact in the global house and techno community. Recent releases include "Because I Told You So" (2025) on Ilian Tape, "Soul Patch" (2025) and "Soul Patch EP" (2025) on Arts Collective, "1morning vs. 2lanes" (2024) on Floorspeed, and several self-released works such as "Legacy" (2024), "Modus Operandi" (2023), and "Transitions" (2022).
