Alinka, a Chicago-based DJ, is renowned for her unique and passionate approach to house music, influenced by Chicago's vibrant house scene, Detroit techno, and European bass music. Born in Kiev, Ukraine, she immigrated to the US as a Jewish refugee in the late '80s, discovering Western pop music and later house music. With a career spanning over two decades, Alinka has honed her skills as a resident DJ, worked with various club promoters, and launched the Twirl parties and label with former Hercules and Love Affair vocalist, Shaun J. Wright. Her productions have been released on labels such as Rekids, Crosstown Rebels, and Fantasy Life, and she continues to enchant dance floors across Europe and the US.
