Aircraft, established in 2011, creates a unique blend of lo-fi sounds, gentle vocals reminiscent of early Depeche Mode, warm and brooding guitar motifs, and classic drum machine and synthesizer tones, echoing Cocteau Twins and A.R. Kane. Their music, showcased in the latest album Sadhu (2023), ranges from the light irony of John Maus to the depressive and gothic tones of This Mortal Coil, revealing the band's diverse creativity. Currently based in Berlin, Aircraft is known for its DJ performances at various European events.
