
Amount
Amount, a Berlin-based DJ and producer, emerged as one half of the duo Soukie & Windish. Born in 1980, his musical journey began with influences from Prince, Michael Jackson, Art of Noise, and Franky goes to Hollywood. Transitioning from classical guitar to computer music at 13, he experimented with various genres before focusing on Techno, Minimal, and House music. In the early 2000s, Amount's collaboration with Fritz Windish led to a shared studio in Hamburg and the discovery of URSL, their label founded in 2011. The move to Berlin brought success as a duo, and since 2018, Amount has been dedicating more time to his solo project. Known for energetic live sets that blend Downtempo, Minimal, and Disco, he released an EP on Minimal Little Helpers and debuted Disco releases on Frank Music and Running Back. Amount's future promises a focus on Disco music, as he himself declared: "The future will be disco for me, that's for sure." His discography includes recent releases on labels like Frank Music, Circles & Stones, Lost In Luise, and Feines Tier.
Amount played in Seebühne at Fusion festival 2026 and in Buk Corner at Garbicz festival 2024.
