Electronic trio BAKIR push boundaries with a fusion sound that merges North African rhythms from the Maghreb to Middle Eastern melodies, infused with Mediterranean-inspired maqams. This energetic musical blend, composed of traditional instruments, drum machines, and synthesizers, invites movement and dance towards trance. Blending Eastern, ethnic, and industrial sounds, the trio offers a timeless universality. The natural chemistry between the three musician acolytes, who have collaborated for over a decade within the collective label Baklawa Music, is evident. Between Morocco and Marseille, BAKIR rejuvenates the Maghrebi musical universe, creating original compositions with traditional influences.
