Barb Nerdy

Barbnerdy, known as Barbara Hallama, is a versatile DJ who began her career in Munich in 1990 with Garage House and NY Style. Her musical journey evolved to Chicago House and Detroit Techno before embracing Freestyle in 1996. Known for her eclectic sets that span Hip-Hop, Jungle, Disco, Electro, and House, Barbnerdy has performed at numerous clubs and festivals across Europe throughout the 90s, sharing stages with notable artists such as Tony Humphries, Jeff Mills, and DJ Hell. In the late 90s, she established Club Neu in Hamburg, showcasing a diverse program that catered to various musical tastes. In Berlin, she launched "Support Your Local Ghetto," a radio show on Twen. FM featuring local talents and international guests. Her sets encompass Grime, Dubstep, Jungle, Drum & Bass, and more, as evidenced in her Soundcloud mixes from events like Fusion 2026, Panke Club's 15th anniversary, and Blasted at Trixter.
