Bixiga 70

Bixiga 70 is a São Paulo-based big band known for their global mosaic of sounds, blending Malinke traditions, cumbia, and spiritual jazz. Formed in 2010 at Traquitana studios in the Bixiga district, their name reflects both their location and the 1970s era they embrace. Their music is a testament to vintage sounds, encompassing Afrobeat and the Black Rio Movement.
