Christian Smith

Tech-House and Funky Techno DJ and producer. Christian Smith, born in Sweden, spent much of his youth and early adult life in Germany and America. In 2009, he relocated to Sao Paulo, Brazil, and as of 2016, he was living in Mallorca, Spain. Started his House & Techno label Tronic in 1994, then restarted it in 2009, after a two-year hiatus. His label has been the top-selling techno label in the world according to Beatport, and is soon to celebrate its 500th release. His music is regularly featured on Spotify's biggest playlists, and he has dominated the charts with a steady flow of releases on many high-profile labels like Drumcode, Filth On Acid, Trick, Symbolism, Bedrock, and Tronic. His last EP on Tronic reached #1 spot on Beatport in both Techno and Electro in January of 2024. Christian Smith's trademark groovy techno continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
