Cleveland Watkiss, a multidisciplinary artist from London, has made significant contributions to various musical genres. Known for co-founding the Jazz Warriors big band and collaborating with Julian Joseph, he is also recognized as a vocalist in drum and bass, particularly associated with Goldie's Metalheadz label. His work encompasses jazz, drum and bass, and more, showcasing an extensive musical knowledge and experience. In 2021, Watkiss released 'Babylon Too Rough' and 'Humanity', while his roots-reggae oriented project, 'The Great Jamaican Songbook Vol. 1', was launched in 2022. This album interprets and presents the origins and development of Jamaican music and culture, offering a compelling experience that stimulates all senses.
