Confetti Malaise

Confetti Malaise, hailing from Marseille's DIY scene, emerged in 2019 as a new wave and post-punk ensemble. The trio, consisting of Adrian on bass and beats, Adrien handling vocals, and Gabriel on guitar, create dramatic, danceable tunes with a darker edge. Their music often explores themes of solidarity and intimate darkness, yet maintains an air of celebration for the glittering obscure. Their 2023 Bandcamp release, "A Thousand Burning Suns," showcases ten tracks that encapsulate their unique sound. Preceding this album are "If mirrors could speak" (2020) and their self-titled debut from 2019.
