Daniel Haaksman, a Berlin-based DJ and producer, is renowned for his significant contributions to global musical exchange. Known for the 2004 compilation "Rio Baile Funk Favela Booty Beats," he popularized the genre term "Baile Funk" (known as "Funk Carioca" in Brazil). He founded Man Recordings, a leading international label in tropical bass music, and has released numerous records by various artists, including Diplo, Schlachthofbronx, Crookers, Bert On Beats, and many Brazilian artists. His musical style is a party-friendly mix of baile funk, house, trap, bubbling, kuduro, and more.
