DJ Babatr, founder of Raptor House, is a producer and DJ known for his love of electronic music. His sound combines elements of Acid House, New Beat, Hard House, Tribal, and Techno, creating a unique blend that reflects the youth culture of Caracas' popular neighborhoods. Raptor House, also known as Changa Tuki, is a genre and cultural movement originating in Caracas at the end of the 90s, popularized through massive daytime raves called matines, which channeled the energy of the city's popular districts. DJ Babatr, as the founder and representative of this underground electronic music movement, embodies the distinctly Venezuelan sound that reinterprets electronic music within its own context, transcending established parameters that previously influenced the Venezuelan scene. DJ Babatr's releases include "Club Romantico Presents - The Godfather Of Raptor House" (2022), "Bandido" (2016), and "The Place EP" (2016). His music is characterized by a fusion of Techno, Ghetto House, and Gqom styles.
