Ground (Chill Mountain Rec) DJ/Producer and General Producer of Chill Mountain Records (JP) Based in Osaka, Ground processes and reconstructs sounds he encounters around the world to create unique dancefloor creations that evoke visions of pulsating otherworldly ecosystems. His music often feels like a transcendental journey across the human-alien divide. He started DJing in his teens and has played extensively within Japan's underground music scene, particularly in Osaka. He co-founded the Chill Mountain collective, which hosted regular mountainous parties in Osaka, later evolving into the record label Chill Mountain Recordings alongside sound engineer Kabamix and designer Mt.chills. Ground has performed at various festivals and events across 27 countries, including the USA, Canada, Chile, Brazil, Germany, Ecuador, Croatia, Israel, Cyprus, and Switzerland. His discography includes seven albums, seven EPs, numerous singles, and collaborations. Some of his recent releases include "IkoIkoIko" (Akio Nagase Remix) and "What Your Tempo," both on the Chill Mountain Recordings label.
