DJ Minx

DJ Minx, a prominent figure in the electronic music scene, honed her skills at The Music Institute in Detroit. Known for her deep and soulful house sets, she has been a regular fixture at Movement since her featured performance at the first Detroit Electronic Music Festival in 2000. In 1996, Minx founded Women on Wax, a collective of female DJs from the Metro Detroit area. She also established her own record label, Women On Wax Recordings, which has become a platform for her productions and local talent. Her recent releases include "Nights Like These," "The Throne (Cinthie Remix)," and the original version of "The Throne." Minx continues to collaborate with various labels and is currently on the Liaison Artists roster, playing in cities across the U.S. and around the world. Her musical style encompasses a wide range of electronic genres, showcasing her versatility and dedication to the art of DJing.
