Don Williams

American country singer and songwriter Don Williams, affectionately known as "The Gentle Giant" of country music, began his solo career in 1971. Growing up in Portland, Texas, he was initially a member of the folk group The Pozo-Seco Singers. His smooth bass-baritone voice and imposing build earned him this nickname. In 2010, Williams was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. His recent releases include "Epilogue: The Cellar Tapes" (2026), a collection that spans genres such as folk, world, and country. Other notable albums are "Country Moods" (2019) and "Reflections" (2014), both showcasing his signature country style.
