The Doubljuh

The Doubljuh, a seasoned artist, is known for a vibrant fusion of melodic disco house and funky beats. With a career that began at 14, they have honed their craft through experimentation with various house genres, including Chicago House, Ghetto House, and Funky Disco House. Their style is characterized by groovy melodies and catchy vocals, which have evolved over time, particularly influenced by melodic deep house. As a member of the Tectrex crew, they have made a mark in the scene, serving as a resident DJ for the "Rookie Freaks" webstream. A significant shift in their musical perspective came in 2013, following visits to the legendary Fusion and Kazantip festivals. This experience introduced them to melodic deep house, a style that has since significantly impacted their sound. Their sets often feature a blend of upbeat house beats with more relaxed parts, enchanting listeners with intricate violin or piano melodies. In 2015, they co-founded the DJ collective "deep stories" with Kork, which has achieved success with its Soundcloud podcast series. The deep stories Showcase is currently touring Hamburg and Berlin.
