Doudou MD, born to a Dutch classical singer/pianist and a Congolese percussionist drummer, delivers 90's UK/US/DE-inspired sets with a strong emphasis on percussion, rhythms, and a spiritual touch. Her music encourages a conversation with the crowd, invoking an inner gangster gut feeling through body-focused house and techno. Believing in music's healing power, Doudou MD's life has always revolved around it. She digs for new records guided by her ears and heart, ensuring a diverse bag of music. Influenced by artists like Zip, Roman Flügel, Paul Johnson, Steve O’Sullivan, and Mr. G, she spent five years in Berlin, where clubs such as Berghain, Hoppetosse, and Ohm significantly impacted her musical and personal growth. Now back in Amsterdam, Doudou MD continues to refine the ultimate club experience, honed from travels around the world. Her upcoming gigs promise an engaging and evolving musical journey for both artist and audience.
