Doudou MD

Doudou MD, born to a Dutch classical singer/pianist and a Congolese percussionist drummer, delivers 90's UK/US/DE-inspired sets with a strong emphasis on percussion, rhythms, and a spiritual touch. Her music aims to engage the crowd, invoking an inner gangster feeling through body-focused house and techno. Believing in music as a healing force, Doudou MD follows her ears and heart when searching for new records, maintaining a diverse collection. Influenced by artists like Zip, Roman Flügel, Paul Johnson, Steve O’Sullivan, and Mr. G, she spent five formative years in Berlin, where clubs such as Berghain, Hoppetosse, and Ohm left a lasting impact on her musical and personal growth. Now back in Amsterdam, Doudou MD continues to refine her understanding of the ultimate club experience, having traveled worldwide to perfect her craft. Each upcoming performance promises an intriguing blend of music and dance for both artist and audience alike.
