E DE COLOGNE & ILL TILL

E-DE Cologne, a pioneering figure in the electronic music scene of Cologne/Worringen, began releasing records in 1992 through Monotone, a sidelabel of Structure and Delirium Records (now Kompakt). Known for his innovative approach to Gabber Love, E de Cologne produced music on an Amiga 500, collaborating with notable figures such as DJ Bleed, Triple R, Wolfgang Voigt (Mike Ink), and others. His musical journey has encompassed various electronic music genres under different aliases, but he frequently returns to his first project for its inherent charm. E de Cologne continues to produce music and remixes under his original moniker. Influenced by the Cosmic Orgasm parties, E de Cologne's sound is characterized by a fusion of Acid, Breakbeat, and Techno, distancing himself from the soccer/hooligan side of Gabber or Speedcore. His punkish, irritating approach sets him apart from the common hardcore scene. E de Cologne remains active in Origami and enjoys grilling mushrooms at home while having relaxing acid sessions.
