Emo Rugene

Emo Rugene, known also as In Living Color, is a Berlin-based artist with a distinctive sound that blends techno and house with African influences. Their sets at Garbicz Festival and Fusion Festival have showcased this unique fusion, often tagged as Zouk, Afrohouse, and Soukous. A standout performance was their sunrise set at Pleasure Island Stage in 2025, demonstrating their versatility across deep house and elektro genres.

Emo Rugene played in Juicy at Garbicz festival 2026, in Oaky D'Oaky at Fusion festival 2026 and in Bei Birke at Nation of Gondwana festival 2024.
