FOOTPRINT SYSTEM

FOOTPRINT SYSTEM blends blues and its derivatives with electronic music, maintaining a focus on the evolution of the genre. Established in late 2009, the collective consists of five childhood friends. Their platform, a sound system, aims to foster creative projects that merge various musical influences while maintaining a sense of coherence. Inspired by the English sound system culture, they strive to create a dynamic and culturally diverse dialogue. Their work does not aim to fix a cultural identity, instead viewing Dub as a tool for diverse fusions, inspired by traditional music as well as avant-garde electronic and experimental music.

FOOTPRINT SYSTEM played in Rootsbase at Fusion festival 2024.
