Sufi Dub Brothers

Minimalist pop duo fastmusic, originating from Leipzig, craft an enigmatic soundscape. Their music is a fusion of Mali's desert blues guitar licks and vintage rhythm machines, creating a hypnotizing appeal reminiscent of 1970s outsiders like Shuggie Otis or Timmy Thomas. Bela's ethereal falsetto vocals soar above the repetitive, psychedelic backdrop, particularly in live performances where they transport audiences into their distinctive world of meditative soundscapes. Despite a decade-long journey leading up to their debut album "Sufi Dub Brothers" in 2020, Ashraf Sharif Khan & Viktor Marek have established a successful career through captivating live sets.
