Giana Brotherz, formed in 2000 as a Drum&Bass live project by SSB (Chicken & Sola), are renowned for their unique sound within the German scene. Their early releases on Basswerk & Pathfinder gained international recognition and were played by numerous prominent DJs. Their single 'Crossed Roots' (Basswerk 015) was a significant release of 2002. The duo's popularity led to the UK taking notice, and they established their own label, 'Giana Brotherz Recordings', in 2003. Chicken, known for his ability to blend Drum&Bass, Dubstep, and Breaks in his DJ sets, is recognized for his energetic performances and stage presence.
