Guts Pie Earshot is a German duo consisting of Patrick Cybinski (Rizio) on cello and Jean Jacobi (Scheng) on drums, known for their unique blend of post punk, improvisation, avant-garde, and leftfield alternative grooves. Originating from the Bonn/NRW area in 1991 as a hardcore band named Flowerhouse, they evolved with the addition of singer Anneke in 1995. After various lineup changes, including the departure of keyboardist Gunther Steudel and vocalist Anneke, the band continued as an instrumental trio until bass player Al-X left in 2004, leaving them as a duo ever since.
