Gwenan

Gwenan's electronic music blends minimal, dub techno, ambient house, and experimental styles, showcasing a unique fusion of the gentle and angular. Inspired by early 90s Sheffield and Detroit, her work is characterized by a strong sense of groove and an ears-first approach that prioritizes body and mood over time and place. In the studio, Gwenan employs a mix of classic hardware, software, and modular synths to create a diverse range of music, from abstract electronics to dancefloor grooves. Live performances may feature collaborations with Eli Verveine as Gin & Tonic, where instinct and machines take center stage. Recent releases include "Snaretrade006" (2025), "Live at Sanctum of Sound" (2024), "Untitled" (2023), "Activation Energy" (2023), "Dekmantel Podcast 357" (2021), and "RA.619" (2018).
