Hye-Eun Kim und Babooshka

Hye-Eun Kim, born in Berlin, is between Hamburg's club environment and its art scene. She is an improviser, a sculptor and an occasional – classically trained – instrumentalist, performing from Golden Pudel to Kaserne Basel. Her style can be most easily described as the moment when a hiss or a dry loop becomes complex information, an accentuated pattern – if necessary, a breakbeat.
