Infest

Dutch artist Infest, known as Robbert Peperkamp, has been producing breakbeat music since 2004. His sound encompasses deep jungle, ambient, and textured breaks, as showcased in his releases on various respected labels. Infest's musical influences span a wide range, including Boards of Canada, God Speed You Black Emperor, Radiohead, and drum and bass pioneers like Photek, Source Direct, and Paradox. His productions are known for their rich, cinematic, and emotive qualities that create an audio-visual journey. Currently, Infest runs the label Next Phase Records, which focuses on releasing a diverse mix of breakbeat-driven music without BPM restrictions. Some of his recent releases include "Barriers From Within" (2019), "Intuition EP" (2017), and "Mercury / Emptiness Is Form" (2016).
