Kollektiv Turmstrasse
Kollektiv Turmstrasse, a renowned German live act in electronic music, has been an influential force in the global techno and house scene since its formation in 1999. Founded by Nico Plagemann and Christian Hilscher in Wismar, the duo later moved to Hamburg and named themselves after their shared residence street. Their sound is deeply rooted in house music, with influences from breakbeat, indie dance, techno, and even hints of hip-hop and modern pop. Since Hilscher's departure in 2021, Plagemann has continued as a solo artist, maintaining the group's complex, progressive, and intriguing artistic identity. Their discography includes releases on prestigious labels like Kompakt, Diynamic, Cocoon, Fabric, and FFFR. Recent works such as "Stalker: Cold Love EP" (2025) showcase their versatility in progressive house, deep techno, and tech house genres.
