Lakiko, the musical project of Lana Kostic, blends cello, vocals, and electronic elements to create a haunting, repetitive, and emotionally charged soundscape that explores themes of nomadism, nightmares, an archaic past, and a dystopian future. Influenced by Bosnian music, classical music, pop vocals, contemporary spoken word, driving beats, and glissandi loops, Lakiko's music offers a unique and manifold listening experience that seems to reprogram the senses, leaving listeners with a sense of bitter-sweet melancholy.
