Madota

Madota, a duo comprising Behnam and Mehran, fuse their Iranian roots with Canadian upbringing to create a unique blend of soulful elements and darker grooves. Their musical journey began in Vancouver's nightlife as DJs since 2011, before moving to Berlin where they started experimenting with original compositions. Their music has been showcased at prestigious events such as Garbicz Festival in Poland, Acidcase x Mayan Warrior in Berlin, Stereobar in Montreal, Katerblau in Berlin, OFF Sonar in Barcelona, ZERO in NYC, and Woomoon in Ibiza. Their sound encompasses a variety of styles including Jazz & Blues, House, and Deep House, as evidenced by their release "Gotta Move Edit" from 2025.

Madota played in Sonnendeck at Fusion festival 2025 and in Strand at Sisyphos Entasy on 18 May 2025.
