Manu Louis
Manu Louis, a versatile artist hailing from Belgium now based in Berlin, is known for his eclectic performances that seamlessly blend high and low culture. His music presents provocative juxtapositions, ranging from dissident chanson francaise to new beat, old hits, art-pop, and hard bop. Manu's repertoire includes Cream Parade, an album released in 2019 on Igloo Records, following Kermesse Machine (2017). Over the past three years, he has performed at over 300 festivals and clubs across Europe and Asia. Collaborations with visual artists Escif & Systaime, Garrett List’30 piece chamber orchestra Orchestra Vivo, Chinese singer/composer Song Yuzhe (Dawanggang), Spanish instrument builder/musician Truna, electronic weirdos Front de Cadeaux & Too Smooth Christ, and Belgian singer Carl Roossens, further demonstrate Manu's ability to work with a diverse range of musicians. As a passionate singer and knob agitator, he also plays the guitar in his own unique punk jazz style.
Manu Louis played in Tube Tresen at Fusion festival 2024.
