DJ Marcelle, also known as Another Nice Mess, is a Dutch musician, DJ, producer, and radio broadcaster based in Amsterdam. Known for her global performances and residency at Uganda's Nyege Nyege Festival, she is a pioneer of sonic experimentation. Her three-turntable setup creates unique blends of genres, eras, and contexts, resulting in unpredictable mixes that incorporate raw techno, dub, electronics, post-punk, singeli, dancehall, animal sounds, and electronic avant-garde. Active for decades, she has released music on labels such as Cortizona, Jahmoni, and Klangbad. Her weekly radio show, Another Nice Mess, is available for listeners to subscribe.
