MARRØN

MARRØN, a Dutch techno artist, is renowned for his Afro Deep style that incorporates fast rhythmics inspired by his roots. As co-founder and resident of Amsterdam's Eerste Communie, MARRØN's dynamic take on techno is a staple in the underground scene. His hypnotic, percussive beats have evolved to form a unique conception of the genre. MARRØN's alias honors the Marrons, an enslaved African tribe who defied oppression and found freedom in the rainforests of Surinam. His musical journey also includes a past as a professional and Olympic basketball player.
