Mattia Prete [Jazz-O-Tech]

Berlin-based electronic music artist Mattia Prete is renowned for his innovative fusion of techno and electronica with intricate jazz rhythms and organic instrumentation. As a DJ, Prete's sets are known for their versatile sound, creating a transcendental journey that keeps the audience engaged on the dancefloor. Prete's productions incorporate elements of sci-fi futurism and film soundtracks, resulting in a unique sound that has gained international acclaim. He debuted with "Moon, Please Don't Go Away" in 2020 on his own label Jazzotech, and has since released the vinyl EP "Life is Waiting" on Faith Disciplines, as well as singles like "Palettes" and "Zamovliannia," featuring classical musicians from Dnipro’s Philharmonic. In addition to his solo work, Prete co-founded the 505 band project with Daniel Calvi, exploring electronic rhythms with a sensitive trip-hop sound and incorporating live electronics and organic instruments for a trippy, textured experience. As label manager and A&R of Jazzotech, Prete has laid the foundation for a new club scene called Techno Jazz, producing original music and live events featuring jazz and electronic musicians. Prete's style focus is techno, and he co-owns the record label Dlbm with Simone Scardino. His discography includes releases like "Life Is Waiting" (2022) in the genre of Electronic.
