Psytrance artist MELT, hailing from New South Wales, Australia, has been a significant figure in the East Coast psytrance community for over 15 years. Known for his darkpsy roots through his DJ project Acousma, MELT's sound ventures into the heavier realms of psygressive—a fusion of dark, driving, and hypnotically groovy elements. His music is characterized by wide-open atmospheres, intricately sculpted synth work, and otherworldly growling edges, underpinned by some of the heaviest, grittiest basslines in the scene.
