Memo Pimiento, a groundbreaking duo, brings together live producer/musician Memo from Mexico and Manon, the spicy front woman hailing from Belgium. Known for their electrifying performances, they embody the "cumbia is the new punk" movement. Their unique blend of Latin American rhythms, including cumbia chicha (Peru), sonidera (Mexico), and villera (Argentina), combined with European electronic music like synthpop and krautrock, creates a psychedelic electro-cumbia sound. This fusion transforms concerts into FIESTAS, offering a danceable and seductive cocktail with a tropical acid twist.
