Metatext, an alias of producer Henning Riez, has a diverse musical background, starting with HipHop at the age of sixteen and later studying sound engineering and composition. His work spans across various projects as a producer, mixer, or mastering engineer. Since initiating the project Metatext, he has released music on labels such as Down, Kiosk ID, Under Your Skin, Magician On Duty, Wayu Records, Keller, Hold Your Ground, and Get Physical. Collaborations with artists like Thomas Atzmann, Ninze & Okaxy, Shkoon, Lina & Gwen, Christian Hulshoff, Echoel, Karhua, and others are part of his extensive discography. His musical style encompasses Tech House, Techno, and Downtempo genres, as seen in recent releases like the Lungern EP (2021) on down. label.
