Metatext

Metatext, the alias of producer Henning Riez, has a diverse musical background that spans over two decades. Starting as a HipHop artist at sixteen, he later transitioned into electronic music production and sound engineering. His discography includes releases on various labels such as Down, Kiosk ID, Under Your Skin, Magician On Duty, Wayu Records, and more. Collaborations with artists like Thomas Atzmann, Ninze & Okaxy, Shkoon, and Christian Hulshoff are notable in his career. His sound encompasses Tech House, Techno, and Downtempo genres, as demonstrated in recent releases like the Lungern EP (2021) on down.

Metatext played in Extravaganza Speziale at Moyn festival 2026 and in Luftschloss at Fusion festival 2024.
