Model​/⁠Actriz

Model/Actriz, a collective of musicians from various locations including Delaware, California, and Vermont, bring an intense fusion of industrial, noise rock, and post-punk sounds to the music scene. Their live performances are characterized by a unique blend of harshness and open-endedness, with elements of humor, nihilism, joy, and violence intertwined. The band's frontman, Cole Haden, is known for his charismatic and interactive performances, often engaging with the audience during shows. This approach challenges traditional rock dynamics, creating a sense of community and shared experience that also echoes elements of dance music. Model/Actriz's music is experiential, inviting listeners to participate in the performance. Their recent release, "Pirouette," showcases their unique style, combining elements of EBM, noise rock, and post-punk under the labels Dirty Hit and True Panther Records.
