Mokeyanju

Mokeyanju, a versatile DJ and vinyl selector, blends Detroit's Hip Hop and House legacy with influences from Fuji, Highlife, Ndombolo, and percussive music. With a focus on East African and Caribbean culture, Mokeyanju's sets span jazz-infused afrobeat, deep house, disco vibes, dilla-inspired hip hop beats, and wavy afro-fusion sounds. Active since 2019, Mokeyanju has played memorable sets in various locations, including PUNGWE in Joburg, Backyard in Lagos, and BAK AH YARD in Point Fortin, Trinidad.
