nd_baumecker, a Berlin-based artist, began his DJ career in the early 90s in Frankfurt. Known for his versatile style, he covers a broad spectrum of dance music, oscillating between disco, house, techno, electro, broken beats, and pop. His approach to DJing is characterized by surprise and openness to various sounds, keys, rhythms, and atmospheres. Since 2010, nd_baumecker has collaborated with Sam Barker as Barker & Baumecker, releasing four 12"s and two albums on Ostgut Ton. Their music operates between dancefloor and left-field electronics. In recent years, nd_baumecker's releases have been characterized by a blend of deep house, house, and minimal house genres. His sets and mixes showcase this versatility, with tracks that resonate in various clubs and festivals.
