
Nina Kohout
Nina Kohout, a sonic storyteller, blends ancient Slovak folklore, classical music elements, and dark electronica in her music. Her sound is characterized by an intriguing conversation between horror and purity. In 2020, she won the Radio_Head award for Newcomer of the Year. Her debut EP Pandemonium, which includes the song Moonlight, received recognition from BBC Radio 6 Music and music magazines like Under the Radar, Louder than War, and Electronic Sound magazine. Her musical style can be associated with artists such as Björk, Nick Cave, St Vincent, Imogen Heap, Kimbra, and Kate Bush, while her experimental edge is reminiscent of The Brit School alumni.
