Octave One, a Detroit-based collective led by the Burden brothers, is renowned for their high-energy techno performances. Emerging in 1990 with "I Believe" on the compilation "Techno 2: The Next Generation," they have since toured extensively across various continents and released groundbreaking dance anthems through their label, 430 West Records. Their discography includes tracks like "Empower," "Nicolette," and "The X-files," as well as remixes for artists such as Massive Attack and DJ Rolando. In recent years, they have released "4AM and a TR1000" (2025) and "Tiers (Level A Edit)" (2023). Their sound is characterized by a deep, pulsating rhythm that resonates with techno enthusiasts worldwide.
