Phase Fatale

Berlin-based DJ and producer Hayden Payne, known as Phase Fatale, is a prominent figure in the techno scene. With residencies at Berghain and Khidi, and affiliations with labels like Ostgut Ton, BITE, and Jealous God, Payne's music showcases a fusion of gnarly basslines, sensual narratives, and mind-control mechanics. Since debuting in 2014, Payne has released three full-length albums, including 'Scanning Backwards' on Ostgut Ton in 2020. His music pushes techno boundaries while staying true to his vision, as demonstrated through numerous releases and performances at renowned clubs and festivals worldwide. In 2018, Payne launched the BITE label to showcase cutting-edge sound production from a diverse roster of international artists. The label's seminal synthesis of curated techno has solidified its reputation as a taste-maker within electronic music.
