Phase Fatale

Phase Fatale, the industrial techno project of Berlin-based DJ and producer Hayden Payne, emerged in 2014. Known for his cross-pollination of gnarly basslines, sensual narratives, and mind-control mechanics, Payne's rhythmic excursions reflect his roots in the underground scenes of New York and Berlin. With three full-length albums under his belt, including 'Scanning Backwards' on Berghain's imprint Ostgut Ton in 2020, Payne's sonic signature pushes the boundaries of techno sensibilities. His recent release, 'Off Desire' on Dekmantel in 2026, showcases his expert sonic ability. Payne's label, BITE, launched in 2018, serves as a platform for cutting-edge sound production across a diverse roster of international artists. His latest release, 'Transitioning Practice' in 2025, features a blend of techno, EBM, industrial, ambient, electro, experimental, and glitch styles.

Phase Fatale played at Berghain Bite Nite on 15 August 2026, CSD Klubnacht on 26 July 2026 and Klubnacht on 1 June 2026.
