DJ and producer Philo, with roots in Cologne and a connection to the UK's music scenes, delivers sets that span campy house, raw breaks, and oldschool techno. Originally known for her vinyl-only jungle DJing, she now captivates dancefloors across Europe and beyond. Her sets are characterized by ravey stabs, subverted diva vocal chops, and a nostalgic 90s warehouse feel in techno sets. Philo's productions blend various genres, with releases on labels like Defrostatica, Hardcore Energy, Stereo45, and Nice & Deadly showcasing her breaks-heavy roots, while her current works incorporate elements of uplifting house.
