Andreas Pieper, known as DJ PIPE, began mixing tapes in 1988, focusing on acid and early techno tracks. His sound evolved to hardcore by 1993, with releases under the alias Trash Enemy HQ. Throughout the mid-90s, he performed live sets and DJ gigs at various clubs such as Marquee, Rote Flora, The Box, Fusion-Club, Druckluft, Musikfactory, and more. Since 1998, his repertoire expanded to include a variety of electronic music styles. He has played at venues like Favela in Munster, Alfons X in Sigmaringen, and Nature One, among others. In 2011, he initiated the Hinterwald-Elektronacht events, inviting guest DJs from across Germany and potentially other countries in the future. DJ PIPE's musical style encompasses Techno, Tech-Trance, Minimal, Nu Electro, Drum'n Bass, Trance, Psy-Trance, and Acid.
DJ Pipe will be playing in Summe at RSO MAGMA Festival Saturday + By Night this Sunday at 04:00 in the morning, played in Wintergarten at Sisyphos Ducktopia Nichtgeburtstag 2025 on 3 October 2025 and Lenz Dance on 23 March 2025.
