Qoa

Qoa, an intermedia artist, weaves immersive soundscapes that blend elements of ambient, experimental, and field recording genres. Their work is a search for affects, spaces, and time, creating a constantly evolving loop. Qoa's practice involves crafting multi-channel installations and visual works, using listening as a means to connect body and environment. Their focus lies on the relationship between bodies, territories, and non-human life, often incorporating field recordings and embodied research from Argentina's Yungas and wetlands. In 2025, Qoa released the album ◎濤音幽洞, a collaboration with Yuko, on Bandcamp. Their latest releases include SAUCO (2024, vinyl), Kalikoshi (2021), and the 2025 album.
