Rasha Nahas
Rasha Nahas, a Palestinian singer, composer, and instrumentalist, is recognized for her genre-defying approach to songwriting and performance. Her music seamlessly blends the resonances of old school rock 'n' roll with the anarchy of '80s electronica, creating a unique musical universe rooted in the underground. Her critically acclaimed debut album, Desert, chronicled her journey from Haifa to Berlin and was featured on BBC Radio 4's Loose Ends and Spotify:Mic Check. Her upcoming two-chapter LP, 'Amrat', due for release in January 2023, promises tours across Europe and West Asia. This will mark Rasha's first foray into Arabic-language lyrics, offering a sentimental exploration of urban and rural landscapes. Rasha Nahas was among the first recipients of the Bertha Foundation's Artivism Award in 2022.
Rasha Nahas played in Luftschloss at Fusion festival 2025.
