Sara Miller

Sara Miller is a Dublin-born, Berlin-based DJ, producer, and sound engineer, known for her high-energy, groove-driven sets that blend 90s progressive and deep house with Balearic, Italo, and acid sounds. Her music features astral melodies, rubbery basslines, and soaring breaks, creating fluid journeys that blur the line between reflection and abandon. Active in the underground scene since 2019, Miller has performed at renowned venues such as Panorama Bar, Robert Johnson, and Tresor, as well as Phonox, Badaboum, Macadam, and Nitsa. Her productions, which translate club energy into finely detailed, melodic tracks, have been released on labels like Permanent Vacation and Cracki Records. Miller's relationship with Permanent Vacation began with the release of Orange Sea in 2021, followed by the acclaimed Lunar Theory EP in 2023, her vinyl debut Cervo on Cracki Records in 2024, and remixes for Permanent Vacation and Live at Robert Johnson. Oceanic Dream, her second EP for Permanent Vacation, was released in 2025. Her music has been praised for its emotional depth and idiosyncratic touch, with DJ Mag describing her as "one of the rare alchemists who can push a tune to its emotional breaking point while also keeping it on the right side of cheesy." Resident Advisor called Lunar Theory "filled with melodies as complex as honeycomb," noting its low-end heft and unique style. In 2024, Miller was selected for the Detroit-Berlin Residency, spending two months at Submerge, headquarters of Underground Resistance. Collaborating with Detroit artist Shawescape Renegade on a hardware live show, she was immersed in a city built on resilience, innovation, and community, an experience that continues to shape how she thinks about music as a shared, sustaining force.
