Drum & Bass producer SD, hailing from Palermo, Italy, began his musical journey at the age of 8 with piano lessons. His interest in drums led him to the Sicilian thrash metal scene by the time he was 13. Influenced by Roni Size and DJ Die's Breakbeat Era, he delved into drum and bass music. Starting his production career in 2006, SD honed his skills in mixing and DJing by 2008. His first release in 2014 solidified his presence in the Italian drum and bass scene. Winning the International Drum and Bass Meeting Dj competition in December 2014 further cemented his reputation, playing alongside notable figures of the dnb scene. His recent releases include the "Nervous Jazz EP" on Dispatch Recordings (2022) and "Neon Memory" on Delta9 Recordings (2022), showcasing his dedication to the drum and bass genre.
SD will be playing in Studio 54 at Zurück zu den Wurzeln festival 2026.
