Justin Shaffer

Justin Shaffer crafts groove-driven dance music with a minimalist touch, blending elements of house and techno. A lover of the dance floor, his sets inspire movement and are infused with a warm, hypnotic pulse. Born in New York City, he now resides in Berlin, with past chapters in Seattle and Bretagne, and a connection to San Francisco. His influences span from the pre-Giuliani NYC club scene to the Detroit/Berlin axis, and the relationship between contemporary classical and electronic music. Beyond his DJ career, Shaffer is also a sailor, photographer, and audio engineer.
