Shame

Shame

Shame, a quintet that unleashes unbridled energy on stage. Their sound is a mix of anthemic post-punk and powerful ballads, eschewing the stereotypical punk image yet still managing to captivate and provoke. They also take a clear stance against ill-informed migration policies. In London's Brixton, known for its musical vitality and occupied houses, they played through numerous sticky venues before being crowned as Britain's most exciting band. Live performances see the bassist relentlessly moving from one end of the stage to another. The songs come thick and fast, with little banter in between. A creative band, with a voice that is rough yet appealing, oscillating between shouting, speaking, and singing.

Shame played in Palapa at Fusion festival 2024.
